About The Management Club
The Management Club was built for the Human Resource Management, Management Majors, by the Human Resource Management, Management Majors, because that's who we are and that's who we care about.
Mission Statement
We at the management club work to help students build and maintain the skills needed in today's competitive work environment. We plan to help students in these areas by exposing them to real world management environments and by having regular speakers describe their experiences in the business market.
Constitution
Purpose/Mission: We at the management club work to help students build and maintain the skills needed in today’s competitive work environment. We plan to help students in these areas by exposing them to real world management environments and by having regular speakers describe their experiences in the business market.
Club Members:
- Membership shall be open to all Business majors.
- Must pay the required dues in order to be granted any benefits of the club.
Board members:
- Board elections shall be held at the last meeting of the spring semester.
- The officers shall be: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Chief Promotions Officer and other officers as needed.
- Officers shall be nominated by members in an orderly manner.
- Must be members prior to nomination.
- Votes shall be taken for each nominee, each member allowed to vote only once.
- All members shall have an equal opportunity to become nominated members of the board.
- All votes on decisions concerning the practice or function of the club must be approved by the club professors prior to being declared law, unless the vote of the opposite remains unanimous.
- Board member meetings shall be held bi-weekly at which any and all problems of the club shall be addressed and voted upon.
Meetings:
- Shall be held on a biweekly basis.
- Will be started by the President of the club, who will be at attendance at every meeting. (If he is not available then the vice president shall preside over in his instead.
Officers:
President – the president shall be responsible for overlooking all aspects of the club.Vice President – shall take the role of the president in his stead, and responsible for arranging speakers for club meetings.
Secretary – in charge of recording and communicating the actions and announcements of the club to its members.
Chief Promotions Officer – in charge of promoting and advertising the club throughout the campus. Treasurer – in charge of recording and monitoring all monetary transactions of the club.
May choose other officers as needed to assist with these duties.
